Gionee Marathon M3: Gionee has launched Marathon M3 with a huge battery of 5000 mAh that offers 51 hours of talktime to users. The phone has landed on compny’s website for India and is available on ebay.in at price tag of Rs. 13,999.

The Gionee Marathon M3’s biggest advantage or merit is its massive 5000 mAh battery, compared to the 4200 mAh battery in Gionee M2. The company claims that such a massive power source which the smartphone is blessed with will give 51 hours of talktime on 2G network and around 32 hours on 3G network.

Gionee Marathon M3 specifications:

Gionee Marathon M3 runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 and features a 5-inch HD IPS One Glass Solution (OGS) display with a resolution of (720×1280) pixels. The smartphone is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex_a7 processor along with an ARM Mali 450MB GPU and 1 GB of RAM.

Gionee Marathon M3 on the storage front comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage and is futher expandable to 128 GB via micro SD card slot. The M3 comes with dual cameras, 8 MP on the rear  with auto focus and 2 MP on the front.

On the connectivity front, The M3 is equipped with 3G, Wi-Fi, WLAN direct, GPS,Bluetooth. It also includes accelerometer, proximity sensor and compass.
