Huawei Ascend Y540 Specifications:- Chinese smartphone manufacturer Huawei has announced new member of its Ascend series dubbed Huawei Ascend Y540. It is successor of Huawei Ascend Y530. It is a budget smartphone priced at EUR 95. It currently launched in select European countries like Netherlands and Italty. There is no word from company about its global availability. It runs on Android 4.4 kitkat as operating system. Huawei has also launched an metal-clad smartphone, the Huawei C199S in China for CNY 2,299 earlier this month. Huawei Ascend Y540 Specifications are somewhat similar to its predecessor Ascend Y530. Huawei Ascend Y540 is powered by 1.3GHz dual-core processor under th bonnet whereas it only 1.2 GHz in Ascend Y530. The device runs on android 4.4 kitkat out of the box. It features 4.5-inch WVGA display with 480×854 pixels resolution similar to Ascend Y530. It supports 1 GB RAM and houses 4 GB internal storage which is further expendable up to 32 GB via microSD card. For photography it sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash alongside a 0.3-megapixel front facing snapper. The smartphone is backed by a 1950 mAh battery. For connectivity it include 3G dual band with other basic connectivity features it also supports dual SIM functionality.
