It runs on Android 5.0 lollipop out of the box with latest ZenUI on top . Zenfone Zoom is powered by Quad core Intel Atom Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz underneath combined with PowerVR G6430 GPU and 2 GB RAM. Device is available in 16/32/6/128 gb mrmory variants which can be expended up o 64 GB via microSD card. Its main highlight is its camera section it boards  a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 imager with optical image stabilization, precise laser autofocus, full manual mode and dual-color LED flash and 3x optical zoom. It also supports a 5-megapixel front camera. The device is backed by Non-removable Li-Po 3000 mAh batter with quick charging technology. Asus Zenfone zoom focus mainly on camera. Its specifications are quite identical to Zenfone 2’s specifications. It feature camera with 3x optical zoom which is its major advantage or merit. Not only optical zoom it is packed other interesting photography tools like precise laser autofocus which was used in LG G3, full manual mode and dual-color LED flash. The last smartphone to feature an optical zoom camera was Samsung’s Galaxy K Zoom which failed badly due to its inconsistent camera performance plus poor battery life and bulky design. Design is not the issue here its pretty thin, light and does’t occupy much space in pocket.
