Design and Display:

The HTC Desire 820  features a 5.5-inch display with a 720 x 1280-pixel resolution with a pixel density of 267 ppi. While the other hand ,The OnePlus One64GB features a 5.5-inch display with 1080×1920-pixel resolution with the pixel density of 401 ppi. That means that both the gadgets have same screen size but with the different pixel density and the image resolution.

Processor:

The Desire 820 features a Octa Core, Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615 (Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 + Quad-core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53)  and a adreno 405 with a 2 GB of RAM. While the OnePlus One64GB features a 2.5 GHz, Quad Core, Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 with the  Adreno 330 GPU  as well as 3GB of RAM. Which means that the HTC Desire 820 has less RAM than its rival OnePlus One and offers less space than the other one. when we work on the phones then we found that the OnePlus One takes a lead in terms of processor speed. So the OnePlus One has an advantage over HTC Desire820.

Storage:

The HTC Desire 820 features 16 GB of on-board ROM. And the phone is  supported with a external SD card Slot with 128GB of expendability. A 12 GB and 60 GB of free Google Drive space is also given along with the ROM options. While the Oppo N1 mini features 64 GB on-board storage and with an external storage of 64 GB via external SD card slot. A 50GB of free cloud storage through Dropbox for 2 years is also provided. This means that both the phones have same internal storage and are compatible for an external SD card slot.

Camera:

The OnePlus One features the 13-megapixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture), although it’s a better all-round performer than before. It also has a Duo Camera for depth perception which means that there’s a range of fancy features on offer and 5-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) front-facing camera which is good for selfies. But the front camera is not an HD version.

On the second half, the HTC Desire 820 features a 13-megapixel sensor(f/2.2 aperture) with fast 0.8 second capture speed, with 8-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) front-facing camera. The HTC Desire 820 camera is also known for the best photography with its revolving camera  and wide viewing angle, so the HTC Desire mini takes the lead in terms of camera. The HTC Desire 820 smartphone can also capture Ultra HD video, something the OnePlus One is incapable of and there are a range of smart functions like BSI sensor. This new added features lets you choose over HTC Desire820 .

Operating System:

The HTC Desire 820 features Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 5.5. The OnePlus One features Android 4.4 KitKat.Both have same operating systems but the HTC Desire 816 has a bigger advantage of the Android 5.0 lollipop update. So the oppo lags in operating system over HTC Desire 816.

Battery:

The OnePlus One features a 3100 mAh battery, which could last up to two days with 2G services. However OnePlus One has added aggressive power saver options to make sure your device lasts the distance and it’s very impressive.

The HTC Desire820  features a 2600 mAh battery that will get you through the day. It also offers power saving features to match those of Note series phones. Both devices are a step above the previous generation, giving much better endurance. But in  battery terms the OnePlus One takes the lead as it has additional features than HTC Desire 820.

Conclusion whether which one is the best:

HTC-Desire-820

The OnePlus One features a machined aluminium body that wraps around the sides making for a 90 per cent metal finish. There will be many colors available: Black, Gray, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, White. It’s a triumph of design, it looks stunning and feels sensational to hold.

The HTC Desire820 is mainly plastic, sticking to familiar design, but with a more tactile back for better grip. The big positives are that it is dust proof and resistant in liquid down to a metre in depth, and it’ll be available in colors of-Black, Pink, White, Gold.

The HTC Desire820 feels like the slicker device in daily use. The user interface is faster and although it has less options and features, the interface feels more sophisticated and mature. It offers class-leading sound quality, a great display, but the real winner is the design. In the battle of these two giants, OnePlus One takes it, but only just.

The OnePlus One offers a wider range of features and comes with great connectivity, a stunning display, plenty of power and a camera that performs well. However it feels like it could be faster in daily use and the unique features of the heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner may well get turned off and ignored.

Price:

As per price, the HTC Desire 820 is available at Rs 21,913 INR and the OnePlus One is available in India at a price tag of 21,999 INR.
