Design and Display:

The HTC One M9Â features a 5.0-inch display with a 1920 x 1280-pixel resolution with a pixel density of 441Â ppi. While the other hand rival, The Moto XÂ features a 5.5-inch Super LTPS display with same 1920×1080-pixel resolution with the pixel density of 442 ppi. Both tha smartphones have the same display size but Moto XÂ has a better pixel density and the image resolution.

The HTCÂ gives you slightly more screen space, not only because it’s fractionally larger, but because the M9Â has on-screen controls.

Processor:

The One M9 boosts up with8-core, 2000 MHz, ARM Cortex-A57 and ARM Cortex-A53, 64-bit with a 3072 MB of RAM. While the Moto X features aQualcomm Snapdragon 801 8974-AC processor which is one of the fastest processors out there for mobile devices  fitted inside intending for an affordable price tag and with respectable performance with the  Adreno 430 GPU  as well as 2 GB of RAM. Which means that the HTC has more RAM than its rival Moto and offers more space than the other one. When we work on the phones then we found that the Moto takes a lead in terms of processor speed as the moto boosts up with the high performance intending octa core processor where the other one uses quad core processor. So the moto x here again let us choose it  over HTC One M9.

Storage:

The HTC M9 features 32 GB of on-board ROM. And the phone is  supported with a external SD card Slot with 128GB of expendability. A 12 GB and 60 GB of free Google Drive space is also given along with the ROM options. While the Moto X features 32 GB on-board storage but it does not support any  external SD card slot. A 50GB of free cloud storage through Dropbox for 2 years is also provided. This means that HTC offers more storage capacity than the Moto X.

Camera:

The HTC M9 features the same UltraPixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture) found in the original desire phones, although it’s a better all-round performer than before. It also has a Duo Camera for depth perception which means that there’s a range of fancy features on offer and 5 megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) front-facing camera which is good for selfies. But the front camera is not an HD version.

On the second half, the Moto X features a 12-megapixel sensor with fast 0.8 second capture speed. The Moto X camera is also known for the best photography with its revolving camera  and wide viewing angle, so the Moto X takes the lead in terms of camera.Although its has front snapper of 12 megapixel and one with HTC it has 13 megapixel but the pixel quality and resolution of Moto X is far better than the HTC and gives more sharper images.

Operating System:

The HTC M9 features Android 5.0 lollipop and Sense 5.5. The Moto X  features the latest Android 5.0 lollipop and a new version of TouchWiz.So here both the devices have same android version.

Battery:

The HTC M9Â features a 2840Â mAh battery that is supposedly 40 per cent more efficient than the first HTC Desire phone, which could last up to two days with 2G services. However M9Â has added aggressive power saver options to make sure your device lasts the distance and it’s very impressive.

The  Moto X features a 2340 mAh battery that will get you through the day. It also offers power saving features to match those of Note series phones. Both devices are a step above the previous generation, giving much better endurance. So both the smartphone have the same battery capacity.

Conclusion whether which one is the best:

The M9 features a machined aluminium body that wraps around the sides making for a 90 per cent metal finish. There will be many colors available: Black, Gray, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, White. It’s a triumph of design, it looks stunning and feels sensational to hold.

The XÂ is made out of metal which makes it looks more sharp and the mobile contains more chrome part than the other smartphones already lined up or are going to be or are the rivals at same price. The big positives are that it is dust proof and resistant in liquid down to a metre in depth, and it’ll be available in colors of-Pearl White, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver, Soft Pink, Light Blue.

The Moto XÂ feels like the slicker device in daily use. The user interface is faster and although it has less options and features, the interface feels more sophisticated and mature. It offers class-leading sound quality, a great display, but the real winner is the design. In the battle of these two giants, HTC takes it, but only just.

The Moto XÂ offers a wider range of features and comes with great connectivity, a stunning display, plenty of power and a camera that performs well.Working on the latest operating system and with the usage of high speed processors will take hearts of android lovers. However it feels like it could be faster in daily use and the unique features of the heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner may well get turned off and ignored.

Price:

As per price, the HTC One M9Â is available at Rs 64,990Â INR (priced too high)and the Moto XÂ available in India at a price tag of 31,200 INR.
