LG Nexus 5 vs LG G2
Design and Display:
The LG Nexus 5 features a 5-inch display with a 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution with a pixel density of 445 ppi. While the other hand rival, The G2 features a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED 1920 x 1080-pixel resolution with the pixel density of 423 ppi. That means that both the gadgets have same screen size with the same pixel density and the image resolution.
The G2Â gives you slightly more screen space, not only because it’s fractionally larger, but because the Nexus 5Â has on-screen controls.
Processor:
The LG Nexus 5 features a 2.26 GHz,Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (8974) with  450 MHz, Qualcomm Adreno 330 and a  2GB of RAM. While the G2 features a 2.26 GHz,Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (8974) with  450 MHz, Qualcomm Adreno 330 as well as same 2 GB of RAM. Which means that both the phones have same RAM and processor but when we work on the phones then we found that the Nexus takes a lead in terms of processor speed. So the Nexus 5 has an advantage over G2.
Storage:
The LG Nexus 5Â features 16 GB of on-board ROM with an option of a 32Â GB variant on board ROM too. But the phone is not supported with a external SD card Slot. A 12 GB and 60 GB of free Google Drive space is also given along with the ROM options. While the G2 features 16GB on-board storage and an option available of 32 GB variant too but without any microSD support. A 50GB of free cloud storage through Dropbox for 2 years is also provided. this means that both the phones have same internal storage and both are not compatible for an external SD card slot.
Camera:
TheLG Nexus 5 features the same UltraPixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture) found in the original LG Nexus phones, although it’s a better all-round performer than before. It also has a Duo Camera for depth perception which means that there’s a range of fancy features on offer and 1.3-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) front-facing camera which is good for selfies. But the front camera is not an HD version.
On the second half, the G2 features a 13-megapixel sensor with fast 0.8 second capture speed. The G2 camera is also known for the best photography so the G2 takes the lead in terms of camera. The G2 smartphone can also capture Ultra HD video, something the LG Nexus 5 is incapable of and there are a range of smart functions, including “selective focus” which produces similar to LG Nexus  without the additional lens. This new added features lets you choose over G2.
Operating System:
The LG Nexus 5Â features Android 4.4 KitKat and Sense 6.0. The G2 features Android 4.4 KitKat and a new version of TouchWiz. Both have same operating systems but the G2 has a bigger advantage of the Android 5.0 lollipop update. So the G2 leads in operating system over LG Nexus 5.
Battery:
The LG Nexus 5Â features a 2300Â mAh battery that is supposedly 40 per cent more efficient than the first LG Nexus 4, which could last up to two days with 2G services. However LG Nexus 5Â has added aggressive power saver options to make sure your device lasts the distance and it’s very impressive.
The G2 features a 3000 mAh battery that will get you through the day. It also offers power saving features to match those of G series phones. Both devices are a step above the previous generation, giving much better endurance. But in  battery terms the G2 takes the lead as it has additional features than LG Nexus 5.
Conclusion whether which one is the best:
The LG Nexus 5 features a machined aluminium body that wraps around the sides making for a 90 per cent metal finish. There will be two colours available: black and coral white. It’s a triumph of design, it looks stunning and feels sensational to hold.
The G2 is mainly plastic, sticking to familiar design, but with a more tactile back for better grip. The big positives are that it is dustproof and resistant in liquid down to a metre in depth, and it’ll be available in colours of-shimmery white and charcoal black.
The LG Nexus 5Â feels like the slicker device in daily use. The user interface is faster and although it has less options and features, the interface feels more sophisticted and mature. It offers class-leading sound quality, a great display, but the real winner is the design. In the battle of these two giants, G2Â takes it, but only just.
The G2 offers a wider range of features and comes with great connectivity, a stunning display, plenty of power and a camera that performs well. However it feels like it could be faster in daily use and the unique features of the heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner may well get turned off and ignored.
Price:
As per price, the LG Nexus 5Â is available at Rs 28,000 and 30,000 INR differentiated on basis of variants in ROMÂ and the G2 is available in India at a price tag of 23,000 and 27,000Â INR. The colour variants are same for the devices.
