New member of surface series is little different from previous variants that restricts you to use traditional Windows applications but in Surface 3 you can run all Windows apps. Microsoft Surface 3 features a 10.8-inch full-HD display with 1920×1080 pixels resolution and aspect ration of 3:2. It runs on Windows 8.1 out of the box and can be upgraded up to Windows 10. Surface 3 is powered  by 1.6GHz quad-core Intel Atom x7-Z8700 processor under the bonnet. It will be available in two memory and storage variants 64 GB storage variant is combined wit 2 GB RAM and 128 GB storage with 4 GB RAM. It supports 8 megapixel rear camera and 3.5 megapixel front camera. Microsoft is also offering free one-year subscription to Office 365 Personal, including full versions of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and OneNote as well as 1TB of OneDrive storage. It also has a full-size USB 3.0 port, a Mini DisplayPort and a microSD card reader. The Surface 3 will have an optional dock with four USB ports, Ethernet jack, and a Mini Display Port. It measures 267.00 x 187.00 x 8.70 mm. Surface 3 look similar to is predecessor it has the same silver magnesium casing, a similar thickness.
