Xiaomi Redmi 2S will be retaining the same 4.7-inch HD display as in Redmi 1s with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and protected by Dragontrail glass. The smartphone operates  on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system with customization MIUI 6 on top.  The device is  powered by an 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. The smartphone houses 1 GB of RAM and Adreno 306 GPU paired with the processor. The Xiaomi 2  feature 8 GB of internal storage and will be further expandable to 32 GB via microSD card. Xiaomi Redmi 2  board an 8-megapixel of rear camera with LED flash and Full HD video recording capability and front camera will be of 2-megapixels. Xiaomi Redmi 2S’s main  advantage or merit is its 4G LTE connectivity with 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS connectivity as well. Design and Display:
Xiaomi has’t made any changes in its screen size. Redmi 2 is 4.7-inch HD display as in Redmi 1s with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 312ppi pixel density. Device measures 134 x 67.21 x 9.2mm and 132gm. It  is 0.5mm thinner than its predecessor at 9.4mm.
Processor and Memory:
Redmi 2 is powered by  an 1.2 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor combined with 1 GB RAM and Aderno 306 GPU. The Soc of Xiaomi 2S might have an updated core but it’s clocked slower ( 1.2 GHz vs 1.6 GHz) and it is its major disadvantage or demerit. IT also houses 8 GB internal storage which can be extended up to 32 GB via microSD card.
Operating System and Camera:
Device runs on android 4.4 kitkat out of the box with MIUI on top. Latest version of android i.e Android Lollipop would been better.  Xiaomi Redmi 2  board an 8-megapixel of rear camera with LED flash and Full HD video recording capability and front camera will be of 2-megapixels camera for selfie and video calling.
