It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2520 processor with Hyper-Threading combined with 1GB RAM to provide smooth processing.Zenfone 5(A501CG) had 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor and 2 GB RAM.However internal storage is same as that in Zenfone 5 which is 8 GB and can be extended to 64GB using microSD card
