Processor:
The Desire 816 boosts up with 1.6GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 with ARM Cortex-A7 chips inside and a Adreno 305 GPU with a 1535 MB of RAM. While the Samsung a7 features a 1.7GHz 64 bit octa-core Media Tek MT6571 processor which is one of the fastest processors out there for mobile devices  fitted inside intending for an affordable price tag and with respectable performance with the  Adreno 405 GPU  as well as 2 GB of RAM. Which means that the HTC Desire 816 mini has less RAM than its rival Samsung and offers less space than the other one. When we work on the phones then we found that the Samsung takes a lead in terms of processor speed as the samsung boosts up with the high performance intending octa core processor where the other one uses quad core processor. So the Samsung a7 here again let us choose it  over HTC Desire 816.

The HTC Desire 816 features 8 GB of on-board ROM. And the phone is  supported with a external SD card Slot with 128GB of expendability. A 12 GB and 60 GB of free Google Drive space is also given along with the ROM options. While the Samsung A7 features 16 GB on-board storage and with an external storage of 128 GB via external SD card slot. A 50GB of free cloud storage through Dropbox for 2 years is also provided. Camera:
The HTC Desire 816 features the same UltraPixel sensor (f/2.0 aperture) found in the original desire phones, although it’s a better all-round performer than before. It also has a Duo Camera for depth perception which means that there’s a range of fancy features on offer and 5-megapixel (f/2.0 aperture) front-facing camera which is good for selfies. But the front camera is not an HD version.
On the second half, the Samsung A7 mini features a 8-megapixel sensor with fast 0.8 second capture speed. The Samsung camera is also known for the best photography with its revolving camera  and wide viewing angle, so the Samsung A7 takes the lead in terms of camera.Although its has front snapper of 12 megapixel and one with HTC it has 13 megapixel but the pixel quality and resolution of samsung is far better than the HTC and gives more sharper images.

However Desire 816 has added aggressive power saver options to make sure your device lasts the distance and it’s very impressive.
The Samusng A7 features a 2600 mAh battery that will get you through the day. It also offers power saving features to match those of Note series phones. Both devices are a step above the previous generation, giving much better endurance. So both the smartphone have the same battery capacity.
Conclusion whether which one is the best:
The Desire 816 features a machined aluminium body that wraps around the sides making for a 90 per cent metal finish. There will be many colors available: Black, Gray, Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, White. It’s a triumph of design, it looks stunning and feels sensational to hold.
The A7 is made out of metal which makes it looks more sharp and the mobile contains more chrome part than the other smartphones already lined up or are going to be or are the rivals at same price. The A7 is considerably taller than the A5 and A3.The big positives are that it is dust proof and resistant in liquid down to a metre in depth, and it’ll be available in colors of-Pearl White, Midnight Black, Platinum Silver, Soft Pink, Light Blue.
The Samsung A7 feels like the slicker device in daily use. The user interface is faster and although it has less options and features, the interface feels more sophisticated and mature. It offers class-leading sound quality, a great display, but the real winner is the design. In the battle of these two giants, HTC takes it, but only just.
The Samsung A7 mini offers a wider range of features and comes with great connectivity, a stunning display, plenty of power and a camera that performs well.Working on the latest operating system and with the usage of high speed processors will take hearts of android lovers. However it feels like it could be faster in daily use and the unique features of the heart rate sensor and fingerprint scanner may well get turned off and ignored.
