HTC Desire Eye Specifications:-  HTC is a brand mainly known for its graphics, full HD display, gaming and a lot more just related to its display and of course its speakers but now Taiwanese gaint has jumped in selfie smartphone market with its HTC Desire Eye smartphone it was announced in October this year and know its  available in India.  Main attraction of  Desire Eye is its 13 megapixel front camera with Dual LED flash and much more. The Desire Eye is certified to IPx7, a water resistance standard that means the phone can be dunked in water to a depth of one metre for 30 minutes with no ill effects. It is a high end smartphone and HTC Desire Eye Specifications justify its price tag.

HTC Desire Eye features a 5.2-inch full-HD LCD display with  1080×1920 pixels resolution. Under the hood there is a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor clocked at 2.3GHz. It runs n Android 4.4 kikkat operating system. Device houses 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal storage which can be extendable up to 128 GB via microSD card. HTC Eye sports a 13-megapixel rear and front camera. Device is powered by 2400mAh Li-Po battery. HTC Eye also features Dual Front Facing speakers powered by HTC BoomSound technology. Unlike HTC One smartphones Desire Eye is made up of Plastic there is a fair bit of space above and below the screen and slimmer bezels would give the Desire a sleeker look. The Desire Eye is certified to IPx7 that means Desire Eye can survive in water 1 meter deep for 30 minutes. It measures 151.7×73.8×8.5 mm nad weighs 154 gm. Desire features a 5.2-inch full-HD LCD display with  1080×1920 pixels resolution.

Device is powered by  2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor under the bonnet combined 2 GB RAM for fast and smooth processing, It also sports 16 GB internal storage which can be extended up to 128 GB via microSD  card.

HTC Eye operates on android 4.4 kitkat with HTC sense UI. Its operating system is its major drawback or disadvantage as latest android version Android 5.0 lollipop is available in market but it still runs on outdated operating system

Its camera is its main advantage or merit device supports 13-megapixel front camera with Dual LED flash and with BSI sensor, f 2.0 aperture and 28 mm lens. And for selfie lover there is 13-megapixel with Dual LED flash, BSI sensor, 22mm wide-angle lens and  f/2.2 aperture. Both the front and rear cameras can shoot 1080p @30fps videos. The front camera has a wider-angle lens with a narrower aperture Both the front and rear cameras use the same Sony IMX214 sensor. The only disadvantage is that for night shooting, the Desire Eye doesn’t radically brighten-up images to make them clear.

HTC Desire Eye is targeted to the selfie-enthusiasts with its 13MP f2.2 front shooter but its other specifications are impressive too. Its main advantage is that it is water resistant whereas its disadvantage or demerit is its  outdated operating system. Otherwise it is a nice smartphone manufactured by a trusted brand HTC.
