Lava Iris X8 Specifications:-  Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava has launched a new smartphone named Lava Iris X8. It was firstly listed on online store flipkart.com and after that it was listed on companies site. Lava has tied up with Airtel to offer up to 500MB of free 3G data for first two months in 3G circles with the handset, while those in 2G network circles will receive the same amount of 2G data. The company is also giving a bundled flip cover with the handset. It is a budget range smartphone powered by octa core processor. It is also available in dual SIM variant.

Lava Iris X8 features a 5-inch HD  IPS display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and  Asahi Dragontrail glass protection to protect it from scratches and dust. It runs on android 4 kitkat out of the box and company has also promised android to 5.0 lollipop for the smartphone. The device is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core MediaTek processor combined with 2 GB RAM and Mali 450 MP GPU.  It houses 16 GB internal storage which can be expended up to 32 GB via microSD card. The smartphone supports a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI 3 sensor, Panorama, HDR mode, face detection, smile shot and voice capture options.
