Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Specifications:- Samsung has launched its next member of its Galaxy S series, Galaxy S6 with its curved version dubbed Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. It  launched by Samsung in Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 along with its curved variant Samsung Galaxy S6. Galaxy S6 Edge world’s first curved display on both sides, and beautifully crafted from metal and glass . The device supports upport wireless charging built-in, with support for WPC and PMA standards. The fast charging batteries charge  1.5 times faster than that on the Galaxy S5, and provide about 4 hours of usage after only 10 minutes of charging. Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge is powered by a octa-core (quad-core 2.1GHz+ quad-core 1.5GHz) processor ( possibly Exynos) along with 3GB LPDDR4 RAM. The device  features a 5.1-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 1440×2560 pixels resolution and 577 ppi pixel density and Gorilla Glass 4 protection the difference in its display is only due to both sides curves . S6 Edge runs on Android 5.0 lollipop out of the box. It feature a 14nm octa-core mobile processor with 64-bit capability. Galaxy S6 Edge will available in 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB storage variants without microSD card support. The company writes, “The world’s first 14nm mobile processor with 64-bit platform, new LPDDR4 memory system and UFS 2.0 flash memory provides higher performance and enhanced memory speed with lower power consumption”.  The smartphone sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilisation) and LED flash, and other camera features such as quick launch, tracking AF, auto real-time HDR, f/1.9, IR detect white balance, low light video, high clear zoom, virtual shot, slow motion, fast motion, pro mode, and selective focus. There is also a 5-megapixel front camera on board. It is packed with non removable 2600mAh battery.

It will come in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, Blue Topaz and Green Emerald  color variants. For connectivity it includes C Category 6 LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 AC with HT80 MIMO, Bluetooth LE, NFC, IR blaster. The Galaxy S6 come preloaded with Microsoft apps such as OneDrive, OneNote, and Skype. Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud storage app is offering up to 115GB of free storage to Samsung Galaxy S6 users, which includes the regular 15GB free storage + 100GB of cloud storage for two years.
